So my office recently moved from the first floor to the sixth floor of my office building, meaning I now have to take the elevator.

Why is it that some people look back when they are getting on the elevator to see if anyone else is coming, but then when they see someone they scurry onto the elevator and hit the ‘door close’ button?  What was the point of looking back and giving me eye contact????  Just don’t look back.  That makes me so mad, especially when I’m close enough to the elevator that it’s almost as if you closed the elevator door in my face!  Bastards!
